The second solo release by eastern Canadian artist Steve Parsons brings more unique original material to the table. This time the focus is on acoustic numbers with well developed stories and subject matter. Other than having a knack for writing memorable lyrics and original melodies, there are some nice surprises on this release. I'll just say that there are some risks taking that pay of nicely in the end.
