CDS AVAILABLE ONCE AGAIN FROM JENNY GEAR!

A native of Carbonear, Jenny Gear and her uniquely captivating voice has gained popularity across the country since her terrific performances on Canadian Idol last year. Jenny Gear and her band, the Whiskey Kittens, are pleased to announce the release of their first CD simply entitled Jenny gear and the Whisky Kittens.

"The album is a tribute to Nanny Gear, who opened up the world of music to me," says Gear. "We recorded the CD at her house, with the woodstove crackling in the background. It was a beautiful experience, and the warm feeling really comes across in the recording."

The CD features eleven songs by eleven Newfoundland artists, including Mark Bragg, Amelia Curran, Sherry White and Ron Hynes. "We have so much talent in this province. These songs are as good or better than any songs I could think of singing, so it was a pleasure to make them the focus of our first release," said Gear.
